Koelsch’s largest development to date, University Village at Vancouver is a distinctive senior living community built to provide personalized care in a refined, luxurious setting. Best-in-class amenities and services tailored to the individual’s needs allow our residents to remain independent for as long as possible while experiencing the best life has to offer.
The boutique 13-acre campus at University Village features 136 independent living suites and 101 suites for assisted living, as well as 26 stand-alone cottage homes with one, two, or three bedrooms.
The Koelsch team worked closely with the city of Vancouver during the University Village build to ensure that construction was completed with as little interruption to the schedule as possible. This new development brings over 100 new long-term jobs to Clark County in culinary, active living, concierge, 24-hour nursing, and more.

This project in Vancouver, WA has been an exciting one for the Koelsch Construction team. University Village is an innovative, appealing residential community crafted specifically for the needs of a new generation of seniors. The University Village learning campus environment is dedicated to a new approach to aging focused on lifestyle, continual learning, and proactive health.

The timing of this project brought many unforeseen challenges due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are proud of our team for keeping the build moving forward despite supply chain and staffing difficulties.
