The Maple Glen memory care community was crafted to provide the perfect home for 65 residents living in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The refined single-story building features beautiful brick siding traditional to the Chicago area.
This community houses 46 memory care apartments, nurses stations, an industrial kitchen, dining hall, and a number of shared amenity spaces.
The opportunity to incorporate cutting edge safety, tech, heating/cooling, and security installations were surfaced during pre-construction planning and then implemented during the build out of Maple Glen.
Construction took 20 months with a total project cost of 13.7 million.
The Koelsch team weathered two frigid Illinois winters during the build.

This project, like many, required ingenuity when most of the trusses arrived not the required specification for the build out. The Koelsch Construction team quickly adapted and implemented structural reinforcements to ensure their standards of quality and timeline were met.
Along with the 46 apartments and the industrial components required to provide modern memory care at Maple Glen, Koelsch Construction built a beautiful salon and exquisite courtyards to provide the hospitality environment expected of a Koelsch community.
